NT Christian Schools - Marrara Christian College Early Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Director - Early Learning Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the centre, ensuring the highest quality care and education for our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Model Christian Values
- Effectively model Christian values as expressed in the Policies and Procedures of NT Christian Schools and give an authentic witness to those values.
- Support the teaching of the Australian curriculum from a biblical worldview.
- Centre Management
- Apply the national quality framework standards, the approved learning frameworks, and the strategic plan of NT Christian Schools.
- Manage the daily operations of the centre in alignment with NT Christian Schools policy and Government Regulations.
- Staff Leadership and Development
- Provide leadership and management to educators and staff regarding all aspects of the operation of the service.
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to, ensuring the children are safe and adequately supervised at all times.
- Child Safety and Wellbeing
- Ensure child safety, health, and wellbeing practices are followed and upheld, as guided by current legislation.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Maintain the capacity to be an active team member and work collaboratively.
- Technology and Data Management
- Experience in, or willingness to learn, technology including computers, online platforms, and data management software.
- Qualifications and Certifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA).
- Current ACECQA approved First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis.
- Selection Criteria
- A committed Christian actively involved in your local church.
- Proven ability to effectively model Christian values as expressed in the Policies and Procedures of NT Christian Schools and to give an authentic witness to those values.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Working with Children (Ochre) Card.
- Must have a valid NT police check within the last 12 months, or invoice of order for one.
- Must hold a current First Aid Certificate or a willingness to obtain.
