The Job Description

The Vetting Team Leader will manage a team of Vetting Analysts providing services to our clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, developing, performance managing, and mentoring team members.
  • Managing the team to meet annual objectives in line with our business plan and professionally delivering vetting services to clients.
  • Fostering a high-performance culture, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Ensuring clear and effective communication with the team through regular meetings.
  • Promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of team members.
  • Effectively and efficiently managing team resources (people and equipment).
  • Undertaking vetting and quality assurance activities.
  • Providing timely reporting to senior management.
  • Identifying areas for process optimisation and efficiency improvements within the team.
Essential Requirements

We are seeking candidates who possess a high degree of integrity and commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Required qualifications include:

  • Be an Australian Citizen.
  • Hold Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Vetting) and at least five years' previous vetting experience.
  • Hold and maintain a minimum NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.

Desirable attributes include analytical experience, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
