Role Summary

Toro is seeking a talented and results-driven individual to fill the role of Area Sales Manager. As a key member of our Commercial Equipment team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and meeting profit targets within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute regional sales profit plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Assist in preparing annual, quarterly, and monthly sales and profit forecasts, developing strategies to achieve targets.
  • Accountability for sales and profit results allocated by the Regional Sales/Service Manager.
  • Assist in the management of key accounts, projects, and industry associations.
  • Monitor and report accurate market data, competitor's activities, and developing trends within the industry.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries and accounts or pricing issues.
  • Maintain current knowledge on new products, competitors' products, and other general market information of interest to customers.

Requirements

  • Exceptional sales skills in an equipment environment.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Sales, persuasiveness, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Excellent PC and 'Microsoft Office' literacy.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Must have a valid Australian motor vehicle license.
