Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Retail Pharmacist to join our team at Katherine. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for reviewing prescriptions, organizing our pharmacy operations, delivering and labeling medications, and providing expert advice to patients.

Responsibilities

• Review and execute physician's prescriptions, ensuring their appropriateness and legality.
• Organize our pharmacy efficiently to facilitate quick product identification and retrieval.
• Maintain control over medication delivery, stocking, and labeling, monitoring products to prevent expiration or deterioration.
• Provide exceptional customer service by listening carefully to customers' needs and offering information and advice.
• Assist with medical services such as injections and blood pressure/temperature measurements.
• Prepare medications accurately using correct dosages and materials for each patient.
• Keep detailed records of patient history and activities related to heavy medication.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in medicine through conferences, seminars, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and procedures.

Qualifications

• AQF Bachelor or Higher degree in Pharmacy.
• 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
• AHPRA registration is required.
• Up-to-date knowledge for the nominated position.
