Pharmaceutical Professional

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmaceutical Professional to join our team at Northpharm Pty Ltd in Katherine, Northern Territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing prescriptions, organizing the pharmacy, delivering and labelling medications, and providing information and advice to patients.

Duties will include:

• Reviewing and executing physician's prescriptions, ensuring their appropriateness and legality;
• Organizing the pharmacy in an efficient manner to facilitate easy product identification and retrieval;
• Maintaining control over delivering, stocking, and labelling medicine and other products, monitoring their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration;
• Listening carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offering information and advice;
• Providing assistance with medical services such as injections, blood pressure/temperature measurements, etc.;
• Preparing medicine using correct dosages and materials for each individual patient;
• Keeping records of patient history and activities related to heavy medication;
• Staying up-to-date with advancements in medicine by attending conferences and seminars and collaborating with other healthcare professionals;
• Complying with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

• AQF Bachelor or Higher qualification;
• 2-3 years of experience in a related field;
• AHPRA registration;
• Up-to-date knowledge for the nominated position.

The estimated salary range for this position is AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
