Lead Social Work Placement Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Social Work Facilitator to join our team.
The successful candidate will oversee and supervise the facilitation of student placements across the mental health sector, providing innovative and inspiring teaching to Social Work students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify, develop and enact placement relationships with external agencies.
- Working collaboratively with agencies and service providers in South Australia and the Northern Territory to identify challenges and design creative solutions for placement opportunities and workforce development.
- Contributing to the planning, evaluation and assessment of student placements, undertaking the role of Topic Coordinator as required.
To be successful, you will have a PhD and/or relevant qualifications and experience in Social Work. You will also hold, or be eligible for, membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, with a minimum of five years (FTE) of post-qualifying experience in the mental health sector.
Some key capabilities for this position include:
- Significant teaching and learning experience at a tertiary level, including curriculum design and field education.
- Evidence of using learning and teaching approaches that enhance student success.
- Demonstrated experience or capability to engage with students and evaluate student placement outcomes via online learning platforms.
