About this internship opportunity

This is a pharmacy intern position that will provide you with experience and skills in all aspects of hospital pharmacy, exposing you to non-clinical and clinical activities.

Throughout this internship, you will be supported in fulfilling your ITP training requirements in preparation for your general registration.

Our hospital pharmacy is dedicated to providing education, clinical teaching, and ongoing professional development, ensuring a supportive and structured approach to helping you gain fundamental knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and participate in the provision of pharmacy services and activities in a supervised environment, as outlined by AHPRA requirements for supervised practice.
  • Participate in quality improvement and professional development.
  • Work closely with patients and the community while gaining a strong learning environment and exposure to various disciplines and specialties.
  • Collaborate with senior members of the team to enrich your experience and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Communicate effectively through verbal and written communication skills, managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a focus on key aspects of a hospital pharmacy intern, such as achieving specific goals and contributing to team success.
