Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tyre Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and efficiency of our fleet by fitting and maintaining tyres to the highest standards.
Your primary focus will be on removing and fitting rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving equipment, as well as refitting and maintaining tyres according to safety procedures.
- You will also perform regular tyre pressure checks, adjustments, and reports.
In addition, you will use technical manuals, bulletins, and computer-based systems to guide your work.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum 2 years' experience as a tyre fitter (mining or heavy earthmoving preferred).
- Current certification in Automotive Tyre Servicing (AUR21920) or relevant training.
- A HR driver's licence (preferred but not essential).
- Solid post-trade experience in the mining, heavy earthmoving, or hydraulic excavator industries.
