Job Title: Senior Automation Project Manager

About the Role:
This is a leadership position that oversees the delivery, commissioning and testing of an automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of warehouse automation equipment management experience and project management skills to lead this state-of-the-art automation project from development to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of complex infrastructure or construction changes into an operating business
  • Establish and commission new automated systems from a brownfield site
  • Manage the entire automation project scope, transitioning it from development to operational excellence
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure cost and time-efficient project delivery

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in the delivery, commissioning, and testing of complex automated systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of large-scale warehousing/distribution facility development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with all stakeholders
