Job Description:

Drive the transformation and modernisation of our global network infrastructure, making strategic architecture decisions to ensure it's secure, scalable, resilient and future-ready. You will lead the design, assessment and advisory of networking solutions alongside service providers.

As a Principal Network Architect, you will be responsible for validating high-level network architecture service provider recommendations, designing hybrid environment designs, and ensuring the network strategy is aligned with our goals. You will also advise cross-functional stakeholders on network transformation, modernisation and emerging technologies, serve as a technical mentor to in-house network engineering teams, and lead comprehensive technical reviews of existing network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Validate high-level network architecture service provider recommendations">
  • Design recommendations for hybrid environment design">
  • Ensure the network strategy is aligned with our goals">
  • Advise cross-functional stakeholders on network transformation, modernisation and emerging technologies">
  • Serve as a technical mentor to in-house network engineering teams">
  • Lead a comprehensive technical review of the existing network infrastructure, identifying gaps and risks">
  • Provide actionable recommendations and remediation strategies in alignment with the network modernisation program">
  • Provide oversight and approval of network design, ensuring alignment with best practices, enterprise architecture standards, compliance and privacy requirements and internal security Authority to Operate process">
  • Evaluate and select network technology, tools or service provider/s">
  • Ensure all network designs, decisions and operational processes are documented and align to and follow architectural governance practices">
">Required Skills and Qualifications:">

Highly Experienced and Visionary Network Architect with 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Networking and 7+ years of experience in Senior Network Architecture roles. Deep technical expertise and broad strategic thinking skills, Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills, Proven Experience designing, transforming and implementing large-scale network infrastructures. Deep expertise in core network protocols, Data Centres, Cloud Networking, Network Security and Segmentation Strategies etc. Australian Citizen OR have Baseline Clearance.

Strong understanding of infrastructure automation and monitoring, Strong communication skills and influencing skills, Relevant certifications highly desirable.
