Our client is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine
to join a progressive service and step into a dual role as Clinical Lead.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of geriatric medicine, working within a state-of-the-art hospital
and a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Salary package up to $430,000 plus

Only 1 ½ hours from Melbourne by car
Daily direct flights from to Sydney Airport (6 days a week).

About the Role
Provide expert inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth geriatric care, including GEM units, Orthogeriatrics, RACF outreach and specialist clinics.

Deliver medical leadership
as Clinical Lead, supporting advanced trainees, registrars and junior doctors.

Partner with the Clinical Director to drive service innovation, including Geri-Connect, GEM@Home and the new RADAR (Rapid Assessment of the Deteriorating Aged at Risk)
service.

Play a key role in education, clinical governance and workforce development.

Commitment to innovative, patient-centred models of care.

Key Selection Criteria – Essential
Specialist Registration: A qualified medical practitioner registered (or eligible for registration) as a Specialist in Geriatric Medicine with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).

Fellowship: Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
in Geriatric Medicine, or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Experience: Proven 7+ years of clinical experience
as a Geriatric Medicine Specialist, with demonstrated capacity to manage clinical, non-clinical, and managerial responsibilities.
