Accounting Supervisor Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounting Supervisor to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated CA/CPA Accounting professional with a forward-thinking mindset and experience working on financials in a commercial firm or Public Practice.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Finance Operations, working closely with a dynamic team of 8. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting a culture of continuous improvement within the Finance team and identifying ways to improve processes;
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards of operation for the Finance team to ensure compliant, effective, efficient, and documented processes;
  • Liaising with key stakeholders regarding compliance and risk obligations;
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices in regard to reconciliation and implementing these into the team.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong accounting background, preferably with a CA/CPA qualification;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements;
  • Experience working in finance teams, preferably in a bank or similar organisation;
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
