Mobile Service Technician

This is a unique opportunity to work with hydraulic systems and provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will have the skills and qualifications necessary to succeed in this role.

  • Sale, assemble and fit hydraulic hoses, fittings and accessories for fluid transfer solutions;
  • Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines;
  • Drill holes, tap threads, and assemble parts and sub-assemblies;
  • Verify alignment and clearances using measuring instruments;
  • Clean and lubricate assembled articles;
  • Test-assemble articles in workshops and onsite to ensure accuracy of fit;
  • Maintain and grow customer base through excellent customer service focus and up-selling opportunities.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Trade qualification in Fitter & Turner or Mechanical/Hydraulic Fitting;
  • Experience working with Axera Sandvik & Atlas Copco Simba drill rigs;
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics desirable;
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets while maintaining a mature attitude and ability to work unsupervised;
  • Desire to live in a regional Australian country town and be loyal to the company.

Special Requirement: Availability to participate in the on-call roster, attending after-hours call-outs when required.
