Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Hydraulic Project Specialist to lead a key initiative in the delivery of a major defence project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and refine hydraulic designs to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Oversee procurement processes for hydraulic components and materials during the construction phase, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Manage quality assurance for all hydraulic systems, conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve design and construction challenges.
  • Monitor project timelines, budget allocations, and resource use to meet project milestones efficiently.
Requirements
  • Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction in Australia, with a focus on water hydraulics.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic design, construction processes, and installations.
  • Ability to manage procurement for hydraulic systems and quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with Australian standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
