About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team at O'Brien Electrical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional electrical services to our clients across the commercial and residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential settings
  • Work with single-phase and three-phase equipment, including switchboards and electrical panels
  • Attend to breakdowns and rectify problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct domestic maintenance and fault-finding services for clients
  • Work on small to medium commercial sites, adhering to OHS practices and guidelines
  • Guide and mentor apprentices in their electrical training and development
  • Communicate effectively with management and clients throughout the job lifecycle, from quote to invoice
  • Undertake quoting and estimation of jobs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage time efficiently and effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 support to clients
Requirements
  • A-Grade qualified electrician with up-to-date knowledge and technical skills
  • Proven experience in residential, domestic, and commercial electrical work
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and quality workmanship
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with rough-in and fit-off work, solar, and air conditioning systems
  • Hold a qualified Victorian A-Grade Licence, current Driver's Licence, and OH&S Induction Training for the Construction Industry (white card)
  • Minimum 3 years of A-Grade experience, with Working at Heights certifications preferred but not essential
