An exciting opportunity exists for a Quality Supervisor to join Wilmar BioEthanol in Yarraville, Melbourne. In this role, you will be accountable for providing technical support to the business and managing laboratory requirements.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- ** Oversee Daily Laboratory Operations**: Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the lab by managing workflows, scheduling, and overseeing the timely and accurate analysis of ethanol samples.
- ** Lead and Mentor a Team**: Provide leadership and support to a team of lab technicians, fostering a positive work environment. You will be responsible for training, mentoring, and performance management to ensure high standards are maintained.
- ** Ensure Compliance with Safety and Quality Standards**: Uphold safety, quality, and environmental protocols, ensuring the lab meets all regulatory and company requirements. You will be responsible for implementing best practices and maintaining a culture of safety. This will also include, but not limited to managing and reporting on SHE compliance - training, sustainability, utilities, NPI (EPA) and trade waste.
- ** Maintain Laboratory Equipment**: Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results and minimise downtime. You will also manage the inventory of lab supplies and consumables.
- ** Collaborate with Operations Teams**: Work closely with operations teams by providing insights from lab results to inform operational decisions. Your analysis will play a key role in optimizing the process and maintaining product quality.
