Job Overview:

The Support Team Lead plays a pivotal role in directing the support team and collaborating with stakeholders across the business to champion and coordinate stock distribution and facilities management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Stock Management: Working closely with the line manager to coordinate stock flow to the shopfloor, including ticketing, hanging, security tagging, and distribution.
  • Outbound Process: Completing and coordinating the Outbound process, including Instore Fulfilment, within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Vendor Payment: Ensuring prompt and accurate payment to vendors within SLA using Logistics Inventory Management Systems.
  • Facilities Access: Monitoring and facilitating access in store for contractor services, including maintenance activities, permits to work, visitor access, and associated processes.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Assisting the Support/Operations Manager in company initiatives related to sustainability.
  • Workplace Health and Safety: Advocating workplace health and safety to support a safe environment for workers, contractors, and customers.
  • Shrinkage Management: Processing shrinkage through reportable cycle counts and investigations, actioning negative stock on hand (SOH), and known shrinkage adjustments.
  • Store Security: Monitoring adherence to routine store security, cash handling, and point of sale to minimise errors and maintain compliance.
  • Training and Development: Coordinating completion of training and managing records not limited to WHS and injury management.
  • Inventory Management: Following systems and processes in accordance with company policies and procedures relevant to inventory management.
  • Team Leadership: Effectively delegating tasks and responsibilities across the team to ensure task rotation and timelines are met.
  • Team Coaching: Coaching and developing the Logistics team members to achieve desired results while celebrating success to ensure an engaged and productive team.
