SCADA Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions.

Job Overview:

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Plant & Hybrid APAC department as part of Power Plant Solutions under the regional CTO APAC leadership. Key responsibilities include:

  1. System Development: Design, implement and configure SCADA Multibrand systems, OFC Networks and installation configurations.
  2. Technical Requirements: Create and review Technical Requirement Specifications and Design Descriptions.
  3. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network issues remotely and on-site.
  4. Testing and Verification: Develop and review Test & Verification Procedures and Reports.
  5. Maintenance: Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for installed SCADA systems.
  6. Support Services: Provide technical support to remote sites.
  7. Status Reporting: Report on system status and coordinate updates.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering, with 5+ years of experience in SCADA Multibrand systems, preferably in Wind Power Plants or the power industry. Strong knowledge of AB PLC programming, automation, communication protocols (MODBUS, DNP, OPC, IEC) and fiber optic principles is required. Additionally, the candidate should have core competencies in networking fundamentals, Microsoft OS, Server and SQL including administrative functionalities.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in SCADA Multibrand systems, preferably in Wind Power Plants or the power industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AB PLC programming, automation, communication protocols (MODBUS, DNP, OPC, IEC) and fiber optic principles.
  • Core competencies in networking fundamentals, Microsoft OS, Server and SQL including administrative functionalities.
