Cardiology Unit Leader

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled leader to join our Cardiology Unit, bringing a blend of experience and clinical expertise. In this role, you'll provide high-quality nursing services, develop from a competent to a proficient practitioner, and be accountable for your practice standards and delegated activities.
As a leader, you will support the Nurse Unit Manager in guiding the nursing team, ensuring the seamless delivery of patient care. You'll take on a dedicated portfolio where you'll promote continuity of care, contribute to practice improvements, and support unit management functions like recruitment, rostering, performance management, and financial planning.
About You
We're looking for a dedicated and skilled nurse who meets the following key requirements:
- Qualifications: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current practising certificate.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities, with a talent for working effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse, with demonstrated skills in supervising less experienced nurses.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager role, relevant healthcare legislation, and quality improvement systems within healthcare settings.
