Motor Claims Assessor

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a skilled Motor Claims Assessor to join their team. As a Motor Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments of insured vehicles to determine cause, coverage, and repair of damages.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of insured vehicles using virtual assessing and/or causation reports provided by our panel suppliers
- Produce detailed reports to determine cause, coverage, damage, and best repair methods
- Review scope of works to ensure the most cost-effective and timely method of repairs
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities and third-party repairers
- Negotiate with repairers to define the scope of work and associated costing
- Mechanical, panel beating, or spray-painting qualifications and/or working experience in a similar position is essential
- Computer/technology competence, with skills testing may be required
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and ambition to grow alongside the business
- Ability to prepare damage repair quotes and estimations, with training provided
- Background checks and proof of full working rights in Australia are required
- Paid training (4 weeks)
