About the Role
Fuse Recruitment is seeking a skilled Motor Claims Assessor to join their team. As a Motor Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing damage to vehicles and determining the cause, coverage, and cost of repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of insured vehicles to determine the extent of damage
- Review and analyze data to determine the cause of damage and the most cost-effective method of repairs
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including repairers and local authorities
- Negotiate with repairers to define the scope of work and associated costs
Requirements
- Mechanical, panel beating, or spray-painting qualifications and/or experience in a similar position
- Computer technology competence, with skills testing may be required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and ambition to grow with the business
- Ability to prepare damage repair quotes and estimations, with training provided
