Job Overview

The Agricultural Business Research Institute (ABRI) is seeking a visionary leader to drive the commercialisation of world-class research and data into scalable, profitable services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of a commercialisation strategy to convert research and data into profitable services.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including government, industry partners, primary producers and breed societies.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of genetic technologies in agriculture and their applications.
  • Drive business growth through strategic partnerships, capital raising and operational excellence.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving transformation and growth in complex organisations, converting research or data-driven assets into profitable services, building investor confidence through capital raising or strategic partnerships, and managing diverse and sometimes competing stakeholder priorities with integrity and skill.

A successful background in the agricultural sector or related industries is highly desirable, as is experience working with global investors and primary production stakeholders.
