As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments, develop comprehensive care plans, and implement nursing interventions in partnership with consumers and/or their representatives.
- Foster effective relationships with medical professionals, allied health staff, pharmacies, service providers, and equipment suppliers to ensure a holistic delivery of care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care interventions, observations, changes in needs, and consumer feedback.
- Coordinate staffing requirements on a shift-by-shift basis.
- Contribute to the review and dissemination of clinical policies, procedures, and assessment tools under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager.
- Provide clinical guidance and education to support staff to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Experience ideally in an aged care setting, working in a residential environment.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including AM, PM, and Night shifts, Monday to Sunday.
- Capacity to work across Permanent shifts - 10 shifts per fortnight.
- Sound understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Current National Police Clearance and NDIS screening.
