About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Green Space Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our green spaces, working alongside experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the appearance and health of our green spaces, including parks, gardens, and public areas.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of landscaping and horticultural projects.
  • Develop and implement effective plant care and maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our green spaces.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
What You'll Learn
  • Practical skills in plant care and maintenance, including pruning, mowing, and irrigation systems.
  • The principles of plant nutrition and pest management.
  • Specialized skills in transplanting, pruning, and mowing operations.
  • Safety protocols and equipment operation.
About You
  • No prior experience is required, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required for this role.
  • A valid Working With Vulnerable People Check is required (or be willing to obtain one).
  • A valid White Card is required (or be willing to obtain one).
