Job Opportunity: SAP Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Full Stack Developer to join our Sydney-based SAP team at Goodman Fielder.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and deploy full-stack SAP applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, and ABAP within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment.
  2. Build dynamic, responsive UIs using SAPUI5 Freestyle and Fiori Elements, ensuring seamless integration with back-end systems through OData and RESTful services.
  3. Develop robust back-end services using ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP), and Core Data Services (CDS), optimizing performance through ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
  4. Ensure integration with external systems using BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite and SAP API Management for seamless connectivity between SAP and non-SAP systems.
  5. Adhere to clean core principles, developing side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP, ensuring the SAP S/4HANA core system remains maintainable and upgradeable.
  6. Implement CI/CD practices using tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes, automating testing and deployment processes.
  7. Ensure security and performance by implementing OAuth2, JWT, and encryption techniques, while optimizing performance across both front-end and back-end.
  8. Use SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Visual Studio Code (VS Code) for developing, debugging, and deploying applications efficiently within the SAP BTP environment.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of ABAP experience in a key ERP, preferably SAP with experience in all WRICEF objects.
  2. 8-10 years of experience in full-stack development with expertise in SAP BTP, SAPUI5 Freestyle, Fiori Elements, and ABAP RAP.
  3. Tertiary qualification, preferably in an IT-related discipline.
  4. Industry qualification from SAP well-regarded.
  5. Understanding of SAP Modules like SD, MM, HR, FI, etc.
  6. Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Visual Studio Code (VS Code) for development and debugging.
  7. Strong understanding of SAP BTP services, including Integration Suite, API Management, and Business Application Studio.
  8. Familiarity with ABAP RAP, CDS, AMDP, and DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  9. Full working rights in Australia.
