Job Title

A Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, working closely with data analysts and business users to build scalable solutions.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable data transformation pipelines using DBT and Snowflake, as well as building and optimizing curated data marts that power our business intelligence tools.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.

  • Data Transformation: Develop and maintain robust data transformation pipelines using DBT and Snowflake, ensuring reliable and performant data delivery.
  • Report Enablement: Build and optimize data marts that power our business intelligence tools, collaborating with BI specialists to develop key reports and dashboards in Tableau.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality tests, documentation, and lineage within DBT projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of delivered data.
  • Data Extraction & Scripting: Use Python and SQL to extract, validate, and analyze data, developing scripts to automate data processes and enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements for analytics projects, translating business needs into technical specifications.
  • Insight Support & Collaboration: Assist in interpreting data, documenting data models and definitions, and communicating insights to stakeholders in an understandable format.
