Sample Management Specialist

This role is responsible for overseeing laboratory samples, reagents, and materials in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, logging, inventorying, and labeling samples and reagents;
  • Maintaining chain of custody and verifying delivery/shipment conditions;
  • Supporting experiment preparation by managing solutions, consumables, and labels;
  • Handling inventory management and performing tasks as per SOPs and applicable GLP/GCLP guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Laboratory Sciences and at least one year of experience working in a laboratory environment. Additionally, proficiency in maintaining a biological safety cabinet under sterile conditions is an asset. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good record-keeping abilities.
