We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Culinary Professional to join our team at Blakeney Lodge in Tumut. As a key member of our Catering team, you will be responsible for preparing fresh and nutritious meals for our residents, while maintaining a hygienically clean kitchen that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals for residents, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences
- Manage kitchen resources, including equipment and food supplies, within approved budgets
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to Aged Care quality standards
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
- Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
- Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
