Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee multi-staged projects and assist the workplace manager in implementing the Mirvac HSE management system and workplace risk management plans.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and codes of practice, as well as Mirvac Group HSE objectives and targets.
  • Assist in design reviews, risk and opportunity register planning, managing investigations and incidents, establishing HSE documentation governance, audits, inductions, and identifying and managing environmental risk work activities.
  • Drive the promotion of a positive workplace HSE culture, demonstrating active participation in HSE initiatives and fostering the 'Mirvac Way' and Values.
Requirements
  • Formal qualifications in a Health, Safety, and Environment discipline or similar.
  • Experience in a similar role on large building construction projects in a tier 1-2 developer builder or main contractor environment.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the HSE legislative frameworks across all jurisdictions and the ability to communicate legislative obligations requirements in simple terms.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with the ability to drive HSE processes and procedures onsite, fostering a safety culture aligned to Mirvac's Values.
  • Passion for delivering customer-focused quality and leaving a positive legacy in the communities in which you operate.
