Job Summary

The Maintenance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our shopping centres, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our retailers, customers, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and upkeep of internal and external structures, carparks, signage, road works, and gates.
  • Ensure the maintenance and servicing of retailer facilities, including staff toilets and loading docks, are carried out to a high standard.
  • Maintain the presentation of centre malls and public facilities, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Ensure centre lighting is maintained, both internally and externally.
  • Assist with the centre's minor capital expenditure program.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in general maintenance tasks, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A sound knowledge of Health & Safety and previous experience coordinating contractors within a maintenance environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
