HSE Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our team at Fetch, a leading Tier 3 Commercial builder in Melbourne. As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

• Assist project teams and contractors in utilizing our HSE software platforms, such as Hammertech, to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement, staying up-to-date with evolving regulatory standards and best practices.
• Forecast and procure necessary project HSE supplies, including signage, safety equipment, and other requirements.
• Work collaboratively with management, project teams, and contractors to ensure safety and environmental responsibilities are met.
• Assist in reviewing and analyzing data and reports, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to the development of strategies to address weaknesses.
• Enhance employee HSE training by contributing to the development and delivery of internal programs and managing external training providers.
• Assist in reporting and resolving workplace incidents, ensuring corrective actions are effective.
• Engage in risk management practices and maintain records and documents related to health, safety, and environmental matters.
• Create client-specific HSE documentation to support post-completion teams in meeting client expectations.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role.
• Certificate 4 in OHS or Diploma in OHS.
• Experience working within construction, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency in using Hammertech.
