Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a part-time professional to join our team at our facility in Western Australia.

The ideal candidate will be a well-organised person skilled at listening proactively and aiding customers. They will enjoy learning, asking questions, and be handy with an iron.

As a Laundry Assistant, you will:

  • Sort laundry by categories and wash and dry it according to the label or instruction from management.
  • Iron individuals' clothing - Full training will be provided.
  • Assist self-serve customers with the use of the machines.
  • Keep the laundry clean and tidy.
  • Report incidents, breakages, damage etc to management as soon as possible.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Ability to iron a shirt.
  • Ability to neatly fold laundry.
  • Ability to read and understand care labels.
  • The confidence to ask questions with a genuine desire to learn.
  • Be reliable and trustworthy.

We offer full training in washing, drying, and folding to a commercially acceptable grade, as well as ironing training. The position is paid under award guidelines.

This is an entry-level position with opportunities for promotion based on skills and performance.
