Key Responsibilities- Drive the Vegetation Management program from a strategic perspective.
- Oversee the governance of the Vegetation Management strategy, ensuring adherence to regulations and effective bushfire mitigation initiatives.
- Lead the timely and budget-conscious delivery of the Works Program.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their implications for the business, initiating actions to maintain compliance.
- Participate in audits and address inquiries from stakeholders.
- Conduct quality assurance to uphold consistency in asset management practices.
- Support the Network Safety team's regulatory activities.
- Update risk assessments and documentation as necessary.
- Assist with submissions related to EDPR and TRR.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
We are looking for candidates with a strong combination of:
- Demonstrated technical expertise in arboriculture.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution and/or transmission systems.
- Operational experience with OH&S policies and procedures.
- Experience in utility, energy, and/or asset management is highly desirable.
- Understanding of the technical and economic regulations governing electrical networks.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
