Occupational Therapist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team focused on delivering specialized services to individuals with acquired brain injury.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services, managing and evaluating best practice, and implementing innovative clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing individualized occupational therapy services to clients with acquired brain injury.
  • Managing and supervising staff and students to ensure high-level clinical standards.
  • Developing and implementing programs to promote independence and well-being in clients.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Required Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Professional Registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience specialising in neurology/brain injury or minimum 4 years' experience in broad Occupational Therapy practice.
  • Current Child related employment screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with adults with Acquired Brain Injury.
  • Experience RTW service delivery/interest in employment rehabilitation.
  • NDIS knowledge/experience.
  • Driving assessment knowledge/experience.
  • Experience supervising students and junior staff.
Core Competencies:

Highly developed interpersonal skills incorporating excellent communication, organisational, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
