This role oversees market operations, ensuring a seamless experience. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of market management, including site setup, stallholder arrivals and allocations, customer flow, safety, and end-of-day bump-out.

  • Manage market operations, guaranteeing a smooth day-to-day experience.
  • Lead a small on-site team, providing clear guidance and fostering a proactive work culture.
  • Coordinate stallholder applications, weekly allocations, and market layouts to ensure a balanced site plan and vendor mix.
  • Develop strong relationships with over 100 stallholders, acting as their key contact and champion for feedback, support, and long-term engagement.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to vendors and the public, representing the market brand with professionalism and a welcoming approach.

The ideal candidate is a people-person who enjoys interacting with diverse individuals, comfortable with early starts, and physically fit for an active role. They will bring confidence, honesty, and common sense, with a calm presence when things get busy.

In this dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills in event management, teamwork, and problem-solving. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire market operation, from setup to close-down, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly organized, able to multitask, and possess excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to build strong relationships with our stallholders and customers, providing them with excellent service and support.
