About the Role

This position is ideal for individuals who are skilled in assembling and installing pipe sections, fittings, and fixtures using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify potential errors, safety hazards, or issues and escalate them appropriately.
  • Review blueprints and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
  • Detect and locate leaks by filling pipes or plumbing fixtures with water/air and observing pressure gauges.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand power tools or machines.
  • Repair and replace defective washers, mend broken pipes, and open clogged drains as needed.
  • Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems for optimal functionality.
