Warehouse Goods Handler

We are currently seeking a highly skilled warehouse operative to join our dynamic team. As an integral member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete orders according to schedule, including picking parts and packing orders for delivery.
- Receive, sort and process stock products according to storage and stock control procedures.
- Accurately perform inventory controls, ensuring quality standards are maintained for audits.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Provide administrative assistance including producing consignment notes.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store and dispatch areas.
- Assist Delivery Drivers as required, including loading, transporting and delivering customer orders in a safe and timely manner.
Requirements:
- Strong technical/mechanical knowledge and ability.
- Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
