Software Development Opportunity

About the Job:

We are seeking a talented software engineer to contribute to our product portfolio across the entire software development lifecycle.

You will work alongside a team of engineers in further developing, testing and optimising our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex features for geospatial products used by a global customer base.
  • Participate in all stages of software design, implementation, testing, and product release.
  • Work as part of a team across different projects.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist in the development, testing and deployment of products.
  • Work with a diverse codebase including C#, C++, Java, Go, C, Typescript and more.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Able to work across multiple applications and tech stacks.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Happy to collaborate with an international team.
  • Ability to turn user requirements into effective engineering designs.
  • Experience working on low-level software development is desirable.
  • Experience working on multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, mobile etc).
  • Ideal candidates have 4+ years of commercial experience.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodology.
  • Able to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and C# for complex product development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Australian Citizenship or PR.
