Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Integrated Planner to join our team at Microsoft. As an EPC Integrated Planner, you will be responsible for providing integrated planning and schedule management services for large-scale datacenter construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for datacenter construction projects, including timelines and dependencies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and construction to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
  • Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet their expectations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project teams, General Contractors, and Redmond-based hub.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field, and 10+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent understanding of Project Planning, Earned Value Management, and Key Commodity Tracking.
  • Strong skills in Oracle P6 project planning software.
  • Familiarity with Risk Schedule Analysis.
  • Ability to analyze EPC plans/schedules and provide deep insights into trends, issues, and mitigations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
  • Experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional groups.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong familiarity with CPM scheduling methodology.
  • Ability to present data from a detailed to high-level depending on audience.
  • Experience with Data Center construction programs.
