Exciting Career Opportunity: Graduate Accountant
About the Role- Prepare monthly balance sheets and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Process general journal entries for depreciation, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting transactions.
- Manage inter-company debtor/creditor settlements and loan reconciliations.
- Reconcile plant and equipment leases to maintain accurate asset records.
- Oversee trust ledgers, bank reconciliations, and trial balances in Excel and Xero.
- Collaborate with the Group Accountant on monthly reporting and year-end processes.
- Reconcile wages and superannuation to ensure compliance.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
- Communicate effectively with the administration team across the business.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Xero and MYOB EXO is desirable but not essential.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
