Fun Youth Coach Role

To make a positive impact on young lives and have fun, we are seeking a passionate Youth Coach to join our team

You will primarily support the Area Manager/Head Coach in delivering engaging children's programs. Your key responsibilities include:

  • FOLLOWING AND CARRYING OUT PROVEN WEEKLY PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN IN SPECIFIC AGE GROUPS FROM 2-12 YEARS OF AGE
  • SETTING UP/PACKING AWAY THE TRAINING AREA
  • LIAISING WITH OTHER COACHES
  • INTERACTING AND DEALING WITH PARENTS
  • ENGAGING AND COACHING CHILDREN
  • BECOMING A MENTOR/ROLE MODEL

About This Opportunity

You must be passionate about sports and enjoy working with children. You understand the benefits of participating in sports at a young age and can engage and build rapport easily with children and parents alike. You also value community spirit.

In addition, you should possess:

  • A bright, bubbly, and outgoing personality
  • The ability to relate to children and parents
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Reliability
  • Previous experience coaching and/or working with children
  • A commitment to an 8-week program
  • A police check and working with children's card
  • Access to own transport
  • A love for working with children
