We are Australia's leading house of brands, boasting a portfolio of iconic owned and licensed brands. Our purpose is to bring brands to life.

The Licensing Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the Designworks business adheres to licensed contracts. They ensure all licensed products approved by licensors at each contractual stage are submitted through the appropriate approval portal and feedback delivered to design teams in a timely manner.

Working with the licensing manager and accounts team ensures all royalty reports, forecasts, and other financial requirements are processed correctly. Through day-to-day relationships with brand owners and licensors, the licensing coordinator sources and builds presentation materials and polices brand assurance across each of the licensed brands with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the approval process for each licence, ensuring relevant areas of the business adhere to relevant processes and stages required within the contract
  • Follow up with designers, production, and QA to ensure licensor comments are actioned
  • Educate relevant internal stakeholders on the licence approval process for each license
  • Brief the team on sending final licensor samples – number of samples, portal log ins etc
  • Maintain a library of style guides and log in for licensor portals – communicating updates, new guides/restrictions to relevant stakeholders
  • Liaise with licensors on approvals
  • Maintain and update files to licensor requirements
  • Collaborate with the licensing manager on any approval issues at licensor level
  • Work with planners, account managers, finance, and licensing manager to submit financial and business reports

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with licensed brands, contracts, and style guides
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) desirable but not essential
  • Exceptional organisational skills and strong communications skills
  • Team player, problem solver

Salary:$80,000 - $110,000 per annum
