Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Hydraulic Engineering Manager to spearhead our complex projects and drive innovation in infrastructure development across various sectors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Engineering Leadership
    • Develop comprehensive design plans for all hydraulic elements.
    • Maintain a strong technical understanding and knowledge base in hydraulics.
    • Oversee design calculations and prepare project briefs, working within project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate and manage multi-discipline teams on projects.
    • Be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from tender preparation and design delivery to construction support.
  • Client Engagement & Team Development
    • Maintain direct client engagement throughout the project cycle.
    • Mentor and coach junior engineers and designers through hands-on training.

This role requires 8+ years' experience in Australian building services, preferably in consulting, with a degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering highly regarded. Holding an RPEQ or QBCC licence and a tertiary qualification in Engineering is essential.

Key skills include extensive experience in Hydraulic services engineering, practical knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and National Construction Code, and proficiency with latest technology including REVIT/AutoCAD, BIM360, HYENA, Microsoft Suite.

Leadership skills required include extensive experience leading and coordinating multi-discipline projects, passion for mentoring and coaching junior engineers and designers, and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
