This teaching position focuses on the development of high-quality teaching programs for the Space & Planetary Sciences major within the Bachelor of Science and post-graduate courses. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in delivering innovative and engaging educational experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Develop, implement, and evaluate teaching programs aligned with the department's strategic objectives;
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver curricula that integrate theoretical and practical aspects of planetary science;
- Provide academic guidance and support to students, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity;
- Contribute to the development of assessment tools and evaluation methods that measure student learning outcomes effectively;
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular meetings with staff members to discuss curriculum developments and student performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Ph.D. or Master's degree in a relevant field (Planetary Science, STEM Education, Curriculum Development);
- Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching and curriculum development;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively;
- Experience with curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation.
