Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Springsure Depot. This role will be responsible for performing fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment under the supervision of the Workshop Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routine services and maintenance repairs (necessary and preventative maintenance) on our fleet of modern trucks, tippers, and pneumatic tankers.
  • Fault diagnosis both electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • A diesel mechanic qualification with previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience working with Kenworth, Cummins, and CAT vehicles.
  • A current driver's license.
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • The ability to pass an ASIO/Police clearance.
  • A positive attitude.
Desirable Skills and Experience

Prior experience working on road transport is preferable but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated annual salary: $80,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including competitive remuneration, opportunities for career growth and development, and a positive work environment.
