Audio Visual Specialist

Our technology team is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Specialist to join us on a full-time basis in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team delivering cutting-edge video conferencing and communication solutions to a range of high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop responses to opportunities for key customers and accounts, including corporate, government and defence markets.
  • Design, price and implement all technical elements in the tender, opportunity and project delivery stages.
  • Assess potential business opportunities to align with our business policies and strategies.
  • Engage directly with key decision makers to develop ongoing relationships.
  • Use approved software to manage and produce bids.
  • Manage bid processes to assess/upload contracts, details specifications, drawings, management of addendums and RFIs.
  • Organise site visits to assist with problem solving, building relationships and communicating with the end user.
  • Conceptualize drawings and complete minor drawing changes.
  • Engage directly with stakeholders and key decision-makers within these markets to develop strong and ongoing working relationships.
  • Assess local markets to produce a strategy to increase our presence in the market to achieve the required turnover and gross profit.
  • Assess business opportunities in conjunction with our business policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders and decision-makers throughout the bid and project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and initiate meetings at the outset of the project with key project members, including job summary reports, specifications, etc.
  • Assist the Project Manager in closing out the project through the provision of relevant documentation.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in Audio-Visual Technologies with first-class stakeholder engagement and customer service skills. Additionally, you will possess;

  • Qualification in Audio Engineering, Lighting or Video Technology or similar is desirable.
  • A current defense clearance is advantageous.
  • A passion to provide and execute high-quality work at all times.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems.
