Service Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Service Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career, working on a diverse range of projects and providing engineering service and support to clients.

  • Key responsibilities will include:
  1. Providing engineering service and support to clients and project delivery teams
  2. Carrying out regular maintenance service tasks, breakdown service, and commissioning as assigned by the Service Manager
  3. Working on smaller projects as a Control Systems engineer, including design (software & hardware), development, commissioning, and verification & validation activities directed by the project manager and/or lead engineer
  4. Providing IT services to the company, including configuration of networks, servers, desktops, and workstation solutions to meet the needs of our projects and company
  5. Participating in the rotational on-call roster
Requirements for Success
  • A tertiary qualification in Electrical / Electronic or a related discipline or trade background
  • An Australian Driver's License and own motor vehicle
  • The right to work in Australia
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in designing, developing, and diagnosing PLC, RTU, HMI, SCADA, and network systems
  • The ability to interpret control system design documentation
  • An electrical licence
  • Network licences
