Purpose: Panthers Penrith seeks energetic and versatile customer service professionals to join their friendly Functions and Events team.

We are looking for enthusiastic team players with a welcoming smile to deliver excellent service to our members and guests in a fast-paced team environment.

Main Duties:

  • Set up event spaces for various requirements, including theatre-style, banquet, and cocktail layouts.
  • Move and arrange furniture as well as set tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, and glassware to meet event specifications.
  • Maintain floor cleanliness, including clearing tables and collecting glassware and plates during service.
  • Assist with food and beverage service, including carrying multiple plates.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service to members and guests throughout events.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately when required.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to ensure a safe and tidy environment.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A high level of physical fitness due to the physically demanding nature of this role;
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work;
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities;
  • A high standard of personal grooming;
  • Fantastic communication skills;
  • RSA and RCG Certificates;
  • Experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.

You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work in a team as well as autonomously. You must be flexible and reliable, available 24/7 to work as required, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
