Educator - Norris Road (Bracken Ridge)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator to join our team at YMCA Norris Road Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service in Bracken Ridge. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for the care and supervision of primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and supervision to children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging and educational activities for children
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a child-centered program
YMCA Norris Road OSHC is a licensed service for 135 children, offering before school care, after school care, and vacation care from 6:30am to 6:00pm. Our service is located on the senior oval and offers a range of indoor and outdoor play experiences, including outdoor play equipment, a multi-court, and a school hall for rainy day activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or a related field
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- A Positive Notice Blue Card
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
