About the Role

The Cyber Security Specialist position requires expertise in managing and improving customer's security governance, risk management, and compliance framework.

  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and frameworks as per regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement controls to protect customer's digital assets.
  • Assess security control effectiveness and develop remediation plans to address any gaps or weaknesses.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Security Policy Framework Development: Developing and maintaining a comprehensive security policy framework.
  • Regular Security Audits: Conducting regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
  • Security Control Implementation: Identifying and implementing security controls to mitigate risks and protect customer's digital assets.
  • Cyber Security Assessment and Authorization: Developing and maintaining a cyber security assessment and authorization (accreditation) documentation suite.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of security initiatives with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in cyber security or information technology.
  • 5+ years' experience in cyber security risk management, policy development, and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of security audit, documentation development, vulnerability management, and security event monitoring.
  • Industry certifications such as CISA, ISO Lead Implementer/Auditor are desirable.

Security Clearance:

You must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defense security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
